Q: What is the refund policy?

Refunds are only issued if Texas Mandated Classes cancels your class. If a student misses any part, re-enrollment is required via alamocenter.org.

Q: Can I reschedule a class?

Class rescheduling is not guaranteed. Please contact us as soon as possible to explore available options based on your situation.

Q: How long does the DOEP class take?

The DOEP course is 15 hours in total, typically delivered over three to five days depending on the schedule selected.

Q: How long does the DWIE class take?

The DWIE class is a 12-hour program, often held over three consecutive days with four-hour sessions each day.

Q: When will I receive my certificate of completion?

Certificates are issued electronically within 24 hours of completing all course requirements. Contact us if you don’t receive it.

Q: What if I am late to class?

Late arrivals may not be admitted. Attendance for the full session is required to receive credit. Contact us for specific policies.

Q: Can I take DOEP, DWIE, and/or DWII on a cell phone?

Yes, classes can be taken on a phone with a stable connection. However, for the final exam, a second device is required and you must be visibly present.

I believe this is a great stepping stone for many people on the effects of drug and alcohol use that many may not have considered. The information could be updated as it is from 2011. Despite this, the overall presentation was very informative and helpful in giving some background to laws, regulations, and the actual affects drug and alcohol abuse has had on individuals in the class.

This class definitely exceeded my expectations. Truthfully (and probably the case for most people) I was dreading the class and 12 hours seemed pretty daunting to think about sitting through it.. However, this class was way better than I had prepared myself for and the time went by much faster than I anticipated.John was a really good instructor, there was a lot of interaction within the group and it was nice to relate to others in the class who were all going through a lot of the same things.I would definitely recommend going through the Alamo Center for anyone who needs this class to fulfill their requirements.

This course was great. Very informative and John was really helpful with everything. We had great discussions on the topics at hand & he made sure to go into detail about everything we covered. I personally enjoyed the mini homework assignment he required us to do because we were able to talk into detail about a famous DUI case.

Here are some common questions to help you better understand our classes and processes.

What is the refund policy?

There will only be a refund if Texas Mandated Classes cancels your class. If the student fails to be present for all days of the course, the student will be disenrolled and will have to enroll again through alamocenter.org.

Can I reschedule a class?

Yes, you can reschedule your selected class one time but only if your class HAS NOT already started.

How long does the DOEP Class Take?

The DOEP course is 15 hours for 5 consecutive (3) hour classes.

How long does the DWIE class take?

The DWIE course is 12 hours for 3 consecutive (4) hours classes.

When will I receive my certificate of completion?

Alamo Center will mail your course certificate to you along with a copy to DPS to clear your driver’s license from suspension . We keep a copy for our records.

What if I am late to class?

Class starts promptly as scheduled. No late arrivals or absences are allowed. Please make sure you are available and committed to attending this important class.

Can I Take DOEP, DWIE, And/Or DWII On A Cell Phone?

Yes, however, for the final examination (in the last class), you will need a secondary device. You have to be visibly present while taking the exam.
